Refreshed after Holidays

Ran away with the family to a farm in Northumberland for a sanity break! Wonderful trip through the North Yorkshire Moors and along the Northumbrian coastline. The kids loved the farm, complete with chickens and shetland ponies, swimming pool, indoor play barn and 350 acres of running space. (Beacon Hill Farm. thanks Alan.)Fancy getting married in style? Yasmin and Ziad at Oulton Hall

What a fabulous couple and what a wonderful wedding. Everything was so beautiful as it often is at Oulton Hall. Yasmin's hair was styled by my good friend, Andreas Constantinou, her bridesmaids were absolute angels and the evening was a spectacular affair with live music and belly dancing. Kids with HIV

Thought I'd post some images from my last exhibition as a thought for the day. Every day I look at my kids and think how fortunate I am to have two who are so healthy and happy. These images are from my exhibition, 'Children with HIV' - An estimated 80% of kids born in South Africas' townships have HIV. Soweto alone has 5 million people in a town the size of Harrogate. What was so remarkable about these children was how positive and upbeat they seemed to be. I spent three days touring the townships and they were happy, aware of what's going on in the world, keen to learn at school and looking forward to a bright future...Without expensive drugs available readily in the UK, ALL of these children will be dead by the age of 30.
